We’ve released a new promising Binomo feature: 1v1, a trading format in which you can compete against another trader. This peaceful contest allows you, our skilled and daring traders, to earn more real funds. Let us explain how it’s done.
1v1 advantages
1v1 is a time-limited competition between two Binomo traders. You can reach two goals simultaneously — experience bright emotions and convert your knowledge and skills into real funds on your account.
1v1 is about equal conditions for all real traders. Your status, trade currency, trade amount, and assets you choose don’t matter. You can trade on FTT or 5ST and use trading, drawing tools, or trading signals (available for VIP and Prestige traders).
Participants' goal is to earn as many points as possible during the competition. Standard can beat VIP, and Gold can have better results than Prestige trader — it’s all up to them.
1v1 vs tournaments
These two types of competition have different rules:
— 1v1 is a one-on-one meeting when competing against another Binomo trader. A tournament is a competition of plenty of traders — sometimes, hundreds and thousands.
— During 1v1, you trade on the real account with real funds. During the tournament, you trade on the tournament account with virtual funds.
— If you win the 1v1, you’ll get your rival’s entry fee and compensate for your participation expenses. On the contrary, the tournament's prize pool is divided among several of the best traders.
How can I participate?
Visit the Tournaments section and press 1v1. Ensure you have a Standard or higher status and more than $5 (or equivalent in your local currency) to participate in 1v1 (see the Limitations section). If you are ready, press the Find rival button.
— The platform will start seeking for another trader who is ready to compete with you
— You’ll get a notification when the rival will be found. The 1v1 and countdown will start right away
When the 1v1 begins, trade on the real account. When the time or the number of available trades is up, the 1v1 will be over. Wait for all the trades made during the 1v1 close, and you’ll see the final result!
1v1 rules
Time and points
You have 15 minutes and up to 30 trades you can make on the real account. Your goal is to earn more points than your rival. You’ll have:
— 2 points if your trade is successful
— 1 point if the trade is unsuccessful or a tie
When trading on the real account, you earn funds as usual. Points are credited additionally during the 1v1.
When you exceed the limit of 30 trades inside the 1v1, you can go on trading on the real account. Trades can bring you income but won’t be scored as points.
Scoreboard
You can track the 1v1 progress on the scoreboard — it will appear in the traderoom as soon as the competition begins.
The reward
The 1v1 winner gets $9,5 (or the equivalent in your local currency). This sum consists of your entry fee and your rival’s one minus the platform commission of $0,5.
Funds are credited to the winner’s real account right after the 1v1 is over and the final score is identified.
1v1 ending
The 1v1 can be over in several cases:
— when the 15-minute period is up
— when both traders exceeded the limit of 30 trades
— when one of the traders decided to give up
Cancel or Give up
You can cancel the 1v1 search. If the rival isn’t found by the moment, the search will stop, and you’ll get your entry fee back.
If you see that your rival has earned more points than you have (without any chances for you to win) or you don’t want to continue the 1v1, you can press the Give up button. Your rival will automatically become a winner and receive $9,5. Your entry fee won’t be credited back.
Who is the winner?
The winner is a trader who scores more points than their rival. You can also have fewer points than your rival but win if the rival decides to give up.
Please remember that some trades made during the 1v1 can close when the 1v1 is already over. Consequently, the final result won’t be viewed immediately after 1v1 and can differ from what you saw during the match.
A tie
A tie is when you and your rival score equal points. In this case, you and another trader get the entry fees credited to your real accounts.
1v1 history
Your 1v1 statistic is kept in the 1v1 history — you’ll find it in Tournaments => 1v1. Every 1v1 has a specific ID, which you can copy and send to the live agent if you have questions.
Limitations
For now, 1v1 is only available on the desktop version of Binomo. To join the 1v1, you should have:
— a Standard or higher status
— $5 (or equivalent in your currency) as an entry fee and some more funds to trade
— no active bonuses. Otherwise, you won’t be able to join.
